What to Know Before Taking Students to Study Abroad in Australia in High School

High school study abroad in Australia gives you and your students the chance to experience a generally relaxed lifestyle—and a bunch of fun new English words (“Fill up the esky for our barbie in the arvo!”). The locals highly value their unique ecology and wildlife, including fun endemic species like platypi and quokka. Treat the land with care as a visitor here. While Aussie cuisine might not have the rep of Italian, it still holds its own: Be sure to try meat pies, lamingtons (chocolate and coconut cakes), Tim Tams, and kangaroo (yup, kangaroo!) during high school study abroad in Australia.

Sun, surf, sand, and study abroad. There’s no better combination on the planet. Come see for yourself with No Barriers down under!

Getting immersed in the culture of India and getting to know and love the children was the greatest. When the students would cling to me at the end of class, and tell me how much they enjoyed having me there was heartbreaking.

Rachel W., Student

There is so much life, happening all the time. It's crazy to think that, after only three weeks, I feel like I've become accustomed to so much of how the world move.

Saul S., Student

I just wanted to take a moment to formally thank you for another unbelievable and life changing trip. No Barriers Youth made it all possible and took the guesswork out of a potentially nerve wracking and complicated task.
